Objects for spaces that breathe
Glass art objects exploring transparency, overlap and transformation in lived spaces.

The objects of respira are conceived for spaces that breathe: commercial environments, offices, public lobbies, and private homes with an open spatial scale.
The practice of respiraglass focuses on the encounter between transparent layers as a space for contemplation
and inward immersion - a place where a breathing interval emerges, and light, material, and space act together
to create a reality in flux.
The works are grounded in a perception of art as a living body in space: not a closed object with a fixed meaning, but a responsive system that exists in dialogue with light, viewpoint, and the presence of the viewer
Transparency here is not merely a material quality, but a visual language that enables seeing through, slowing down, and sustained looking - a space in which one can pause, breathe, and observe.
Rather than relying on physical motion, the works shift through optics: changes in daylight, shadow, reflection, and angle of view. Depth does not reside in a single element, but unfolds in the space between things: where layers meet, light intermixes, and an image is born from their relations..

Where Art Breathes
The objects of respiraglass are conceived for spaces that breathe: commercial environments, offices, public lobbies, and private homes with an open spatial scale.
The works function as anchoring points within space - directing the gaze, generating rhythm, and allowing for an experience that unfolds over time. Transparency and light enlist the surrounding environment as an active part of the work, so that each object responds to the space in which it is placed - through reflections, depth, and subtle shifts of perception across the day.
Whether situated in a spacious lobby, a working environment, or a private open-plan home, the works of respiraglass seek to create a moment of pause and attentive looking, opening the possibility for a quiet immersion into the depth that exists between material, light, and space.
Technique
The works of respira are created through a dialogue between transparent layers, light, and movement. Each object is composed of distinct surfaces that meet at a single point of connection, allowing for subtle shifts in the relationships between them. Through overlap and displacement, the image is not predetermined but continuously re-formed with every movement - as an ongoing event rather than a fixed form.
Transparency allows light to penetrate, accumulate, and intermingle between layers, so that color exists as a changing condition rather than a closed surface. The material action becomes a perceptual one: a small movement alters the reading, and the object responds both to the viewer’s presence and to the space it inhabits. In this way, technique is not merely a means, but an integral part of the artistic language - a language of encounter, depth, and becoming.
